How a Job Runs
Four Stages, Same Order Every Time
Whether you're booking a single wedge or a full bag job, the same four stages run in the same order. Only the numbers on the paperwork change.
- 01 Cut Plan Written We start with a short set of swings on your current club, or a conversation about what you're trying to build, before any blank is chosen. Raw length, intended tip trim, and target butt frequency go on paper before the rack is even opened.
- 02 Blanks Pulled & Hand-Matched Two or three candidate blanks come off the rack and are weighed against each other. Blanks from the same box are not identical, and we'd rather find that out on the scale than after the club is built.
- 03 Cut, Assembled & Cured The chosen blank is cut to the plan, epoxied into the head, and left to cure. Once cured, butt frequency and swingweight are read and checked against the target written on the cut plan.
- 04 Work Order Signed Final measured numbers go on the work order next to the planned ones. Whoever built the club signs it, you get a copy at pickup, and a duplicate stays on file here.

What the Work Order Actually Shows You
The cut plan sits on the bench where you can read it while the blank is being weighed, not filed away until the job's done. Instead of being told a blank "feels right," you can watch the scale and the frequency check as candidates go in and out of the vice.
- Every candidate blank logged, not just the one that got cut
- Planned numbers and measured numbers written side by side
- A finished work order handed over at pickup, same day when possible
- No requirement to order — the cut plan is yours whether you build or not
